My inspiration for this work comes from two extremes of scale: the intangible world of astronomy - forces we can’t touch, but which shape our understanding of the universe. And the microscopic world, where the tiniest particles move in seemingly similar ways: merging, circling, and influencing one another

Commissioned by Plot 6 COLLECTIONAL, Ellipt Warp is a large-scale sculptural triptych inspired by the mirrored dynamics of the cosmic and microscopic. Suspended from the ceiling, each of the three towering forms, created from aluminum, 100% wool felt, hand-painted paper, and over 90 custom LED tubes, explores the interplay of form, movement, and transformation across invisible forces and spatial systems.

Together, the installation reveals how separate entities, each with their own material character and rhythm, merge into a single visual constellation. A poetic exploration of movement, scale, and interconnectedness. Ellipt Warp invites viewers to step into a suspended moment of orbit and interaction.
