A ritual of arrival.

Studio Basse brings together designer Grietje Schepers and chef Jan Sobecki of Tribeca in an exploration of movement, transition and belonging.

LANDING begins with transition. Schepers invites you to slow down and become fully present in an immersive installation. With light, sound and movement, she reshapes the space, drawing guests into an atmosphere of curiosity, wonder and calm. Sobecki responds through gastronomy, as he prepares to leave Michelin-starred Tribeca for a new chapter at de Wielewaal.

Together, design and gastronomy enter into dialogue. The installation transforms, the menu evolves, and the table becomes a place where stories unfold through materials, flavours and shared rituals. Rather than something to observe, LANDING invites guests to inhabit it, to discover that landing is not only about reaching a destination.

Creative director and stylist Floor Knaapen shapes the visual language of LANDING through furniture, colour, textiles and materials. Bringing together distinctive design pieces and collaborations with selected brands, she creates a cohesive setting in which every detail contributes to the experience.

Working at the intersection of sculpture, light and architecture, she creates large-scale installations that transform our perception of space. Her work invites people to slow down and become present in the moment. With LANDING, she brings this vision to life through an immersive experience of light, movement and sound, merging design and gastronomy.

Chef Jan Sobecki of Michelin-starred Tribeca creates refined cuisine rooted in seasonality, nature and a strong sense of place. For LANDING, his menu explores transition and renewal, bringing each moment of the experience to the table.

STUDIO BASSE

Studio Basse is a multidisciplinary creative venue in Eindhoven, bringing people and ideas together through creative projects and collaborations. Usually home to photo shoots and film productions, for LANDING it creates the setting for an encounter between design, gastronomy and space.
